On any given night a DG show is gentle, raucous, and eclectic; but always honest. His soulful style of contemporary roots music and from-the-core songwriting has earned him many awards: Best Male Artist & Song of The Year (Jam Magazine), and finalist in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest to name a few. His music takes him full time from New England to Florida, west to Colorado, and to the U.S. Virgin Islands. Acoustically he’s shared the stage with Richie Havens, Chris Smither, David Lindley, Pat Donohue, Toots & the Maytalls, and Tinytown. With his band Truffle, he’s performed with Little Feat, The Band, Phish, Dave Matthews Band, and Blues Traveler to name a few.
